Pros & Cons
Framer AI
- Genuinely fast website generation from a simple text prompt
- Generated sites are fully editable using Framer’s broader no-code design tools
- Free tier available for testing and private design work
- Real total cost frequently runs 2-5x the advertised base plan price once seats, locales, and usage are included
- Per-site billing means multiple sites require multiple separate plans
- May 2026 per-editor-seat charge ($20/month) is a significant addition to team costs
Autodraw
- Extremely fast and simple for basic icon-style visuals
- Completely free with no signup required
- No drawing skill needed at all
- Limited to simple icon-style shapes, not real illustration or complex scenes
- Not a substitute for a full image generator or design tool
- Hasn’t evolved much beyond its original narrow scope
