Pros & Cons
Height
- Genuinely autonomous AI actions (triage, grooming, spec updates) rather than simple suggestions requiring manual review
- Free plan supports up to 10 members with real functionality, not a severely limited trial
- Automatic blocker surfacing reduces the need for manual status reporting
- Free plan caps active tasks at 1,000, requiring Team or Enterprise for unlimited task volume
- File upload limits (50MB free, 100MB Team) may constrain teams with larger attachment needs
- Autonomous AI actions require trust in the system to operate correctly without constant manual oversight
Akiflow
- Genuinely reduces the need to check multiple apps for a full task picture
- AI scheduling suggestions account for existing calendar commitments
- Useful daily-planning habit once fully adopted
- Value depends entirely on integration coverage matching your actual tool stack
- Requires adopting a new daily-planning habit to get full value
- Less useful if most tasks already live in a single tool
