Monthly Users

Comprehensive feature set (4K, digital humans, motion control, native audio) under a single subscription
Full developer API allows programmatic integration beyond the consumer app
Annual billing saves a meaningful 34% on Standard, Pro, and Premier tiers

Pricing rose roughly 41% in about six months by January 2026, a significant increase
Unused monthly credits expire at the end of each billing period rather than rolling over
Dynamic credit system means true cost varies significantly based on video settings chosen
Ultra tier has no annual billing option as of mid-2026

Generative Extend solves a narrow but genuinely painful editing problem better than prior workarounds
Features integrate directly into an existing professional editing timeline
Reduces need for reshoots in some specific timing and continuity situations

Not a reason on its own to switch to Premiere from another editor
AI object removal and color tools still benefit from manual review on complex shots
Full feature set generally requires an active Creative Cloud subscription
