What Is Lighthouse?
Lighthouse is an eDiscovery and legal data technology provider. In January 2026 it announced general availability of LighthouseIQ, an AI intelligence platform and application suite built for corporate legal departments, compliance teams and law firms. It runs on two layers: domain-specific applications on top and a foundational intelligence layer called IQ Fabric underneath. The company says it was trained using 1.4 billion documents, and Cleary Gottlieb Steen and Hamilton used it early in the rollout. In December 2025 Lighthouse made its AI Search available in the UK and Europe.
The company's history shows a services-plus-software model. Lightyear Capital acquired a controlling stake in 2019, and in 2021 Lighthouse bought H5, a review technology firm whose roughly 250 employees joined it, pairing H5's review efficiency technology with Lighthouse's Prism AI. No 2026 acquisition by Lighthouse was found, and a 2024 deal by a different company called Lighthouse, formerly OTA Insight, is unrelated. Pricing was not found, and with managed services included, quotes are likely to be project-based, though that is not confirmed.
