What Is Equals?
Equals is a spreadsheet for finance and data teams, with live connections to databases and business tools. Most 2026 sources list annual, sales-led tiers: Essential at $24,000 a year, Business at $36,000 and Enterprise at $60,000. Seats are not metered, since every tier includes unlimited viewers and editors, and the main differences are connectors, sync frequency and AI allowance. Essential includes 3 connectors, 6-hour syncs and $250 a month of AI usage, Business adds 1-hour syncs and $500 of AI, and Enterprise offers 15-minute syncs and $1,000. AI beyond the allowance bills at cost, and one source puts extra connectors at $199 a month for databases and scripts and $699 for other sources.
Two directories list monthly plans at $1,250 (Essential) and $2,000 (Business), but a third says Equals is sold only on annual contracts with every call to action a demo request, so the annual numbers look more reliable. Capterra and Software Advice show $18 per user and SaaSGenius $49 a month, which predate the current model. There is no free tier or small-team plan. One review notes the formula library is smaller than Excel's, with only three financial functions (IRR, NPV, PMT), so teams porting models should check their formulas first. The vendor's own page was not among the results.
Equals suits finance and revenue teams that live in spreadsheets and want live data without engineers. Compare Rows, Polymer and Sigma Computing. Browse the Data & Analytics tools directory for more.
