Fivetran

Fivetran is an automated data pipeline and integration platform. It bills on Monthly Active Rows (MAR), which counts every row inserted or updated in your destination during a calendar month, and since March 2025 MAR is calculated separately for each connector instead of across total usage. Sources agree on two January 2026 changes: deletes now count toward billable MAR, and standard connections with usage between 1 and 1 million MAR carry a $5 minimum monthly charge, with Free plan accounts exempt. One source says initial historical loads are excluded from MAR while another says the initial sync is free, so check Fivetran's docs.

Plans, as of July 2026 per one source: Free (500,000 MAR a month plus 3,500 MAR activations and 5,000 model runs), Standard, Enterprise and a new Business Critical tier, with the former Starter plan gone. Business Critical adds CMEK, PCI DSS Level 1 and private networking. Prices conflict: one source puts Standard starting at $500 per million MAR, others give $2.50 to $3.50 per 1K MAR, and a calculator lists $2.50 per million rows for 0 to 5M MAR. Annual commitments reportedly unlock discounts of 5% to 36%. No official page was in the results, though one guide claims to have checked in September 2026, which is unconfirmed.
