Notion Mail

Notion Mail's standalone inbox is being retired on September 22, 2026, with email functionality folding into the broader Notion suite through Gmail integration instead. Since Notion Mail two-way synced with Gmail, no email is lost in this transition — sent and received mail already lives in the connected Gmail account, meaning users continue accessing their email through Gmail directly rather than a dedicated Notion Mail inbox interface.

This represents a genuine product discontinuation worth understanding clearly: prior to the shutdown, Notion Mail carried no separate fee (it was included within standard Notion pricing — Free, Plus at $10/user/month, Business at $20/user/month, Enterprise custom), but as a standalone inbox product, it's being discontinued rather than continuing as an active feature.

It's aimed at former Notion Mail users who should transition to accessing their email directly through Gmail (where their data already lives via the prior two-way sync) rather than expecting a continued standalone Notion Mail experience, since the dedicated inbox interface is being shut down as of the date of this writing. See our Business tools directory for related email tools like Missive and Mailbutler.
