What Is Inventory Planner?

Inventory Planner is demand forecasting and purchasing software for e-commerce, now part of Sage. It does not publish prices beyond its entry tier. The only publicly confirmed price is the Essentials plan at $119.99 a month, listed on the Shopify App Store, and a checkthat.ai table lists it as Shopify only and single-warehouse. Higher tiers are estimates: third-party figures put Standard around $250 to $300 a month, Premium around $600 and Enterprise around $1,200-plus, none official. Pricing is determined by your GMV and replenishable SKU count, and one source says Sage moved the product from published plans, historically around $119 to $249 a month, to a usage-based custom-quote model, with some legacy customers reporting their subscription roughly tripling at renewal.

Sources conflict on the details. Forthcast lists tiers at $299 and $599, while an ATTN Agency review cites a $249.99 base plus reported per-warehouse (about $80) and per-SKU (about $15 per 1,000 variants) fees and a 12-month mandatory contract. Capterra says there is no SKU limit, which conflicts with SKU-tiered reports, and a TechnologyEvaluation listing showing $99.99 for 1,000 SKUs is about 516 days old. One analysis estimates $3,600 to $7,200 a year for a brand with about $15M GMV and 2,000 SKUs, more for complex multi-warehouse setups. Only a Sage quote is reliable.

Inventory Planner suits growing DTC and wholesale brands that need reorder suggestions and purchase orders. Compare Prediko, Cin7 and Linnworks. Browse the E-commerce tools directory for more.
