What Is Qualys?
Qualys is a cloud-based security, compliance and vulnerability management platform. Qualys' purchase page returned a not-found error when I tried to read it, and I could not find an official 2026 price list, so treat it as contact sales and use third-party figures only as estimates. Most sources put VMDR at about $199 per asset per year, one says $199 to $250, and another gives $20 to $40 per IP per year with enterprise benchmarks of $12 to $28. AWS Marketplace host packages are a separate tiered option, with one listing showing $596 to $6,805 a month for 128 to 5,120 managed hosts. The Enterprise TruRisk Platform has no published price and is quoted by asset count and apps included, with estimates from $36 to $100 per IP per year.
The AI element is the Enterprise TruRisk Management expansion. An October 2025 press release says Qualys added a built-in agentic AI fabric to ETM, with identity security, threat prioritisation and exploit validation. I found no 2026 pricing for the AI agent features and nothing confirming a product called Qualys Agentic, so I cannot say how they are charged. Because estimates range so widely, benchmark any quote against marketplace listings and ask whether the agentic capabilities are included in the base platform or sold as modules.
