Wiz is a cloud security platform that finds risks across cloud environments. Google announced on March 11, 2026 that it had completed its acquisition of Wiz, which joins Google Cloud and keeps its brand, and Cleary Gottlieb says the deal was cleared unconditionally by US and European Commission regulators. Headlines cite $32 billion in cash, while Alphabet's 10-Q puts the figure at $29.5 billion after purchase price adjustments and excluding post-combination compensation, which reflect different accounting bases. Wiz reportedly generated about $1 billion in annual recurring revenue in 2025. I found nothing about pricing changes for Wiz Code, Defend or AI security products after the acquisition.

Wiz's own pricing page, read directly, is a lead form titled get a custom quote, naming plans Wiz One, Wiz Go and À la Carte, with no prices and no free plan or trial, so treat it as contact sales. Competitors such as Orca publish no list prices either, and a Vendr-based figure for Orca puts median spend at about $95,000 a year, which hints at the scale of cloud security contracts, though I found no equivalent for Wiz. Since pricing generally follows cloud footprint and modules, ask how workloads are counted and whether code and runtime modules are bundled. Buyers should also consider how comfortable they are with a security vendor owned by a cloud provider.
