What Is Aqua Security?
Aqua Security is a cloud-native application security platform covering code, cloud and runtime. Aqua's own pricing page, read directly, shows no prices. It says Dev Security is priced by the number of code repositories and Cloud Security by the number of workloads, such as EC2 instances, Fargate containers and Lambda functions, with Request a Trial and Get a Demo buttons and no trial length stated. So treat it as contact sales. Third-party figures conflict: one review says enterprise pricing starts at $12,000 a year with platform plans from $36,000, another says about $20,000, a third cites about $10,188 from TrustRadius, and a buyer review estimates $35 to $55 per workload per month at list and $20 to $30 negotiated.
On AI, Aqua says its coverage extends to AI workloads and applications, identifying AI-related assets, evaluating configuration and development risks and applying runtime controls against threats such as prompt injection, with visibility into prompt and model behaviour inside containers without SDKs or proxies. That is a vendor description. I found nothing on a product called Aqua Assist and no acquisition news. The only corporate item is funding: one profile cites a $135 million Series E at a $1 billion valuation, later extended with $60 million. Per-workload pricing means cost scales with your footprint, so ask about ephemeral workload counting.
Aqua Security suits teams running containers and Kubernetes at scale that want runtime-first protection. Compare Sysdig, Wiz and Orca Security. Browse the Cybersecurity tools directory for more.
