What it is
Nova is Amazon's family of foundation models on AWS. Nova 2 Pro (December 2, 2025) offers a 1M-token context window at about $2.19 / $17.50 per million input / output tokens. AWS has classed Nova Premier, Canvas and Reel as legacy models with end-of-life dates in September 2026 (Premier on September 14), while Amazon shifts engineers to a Frontier Model Research effort and a new flagship that may appear at re:Invent at the end of 2026.
