What Is DataRobot?

DataRobot is an enterprise AI platform for building and governing predictive models, with generative AI, MLOps and governance modules. It does not publish list prices. Costs are quote-based and depend on deployment type, user count, compute and model volume, and Vendr notes most buyers negotiate custom enterprise agreements. Third-party estimates are broad: CASRAI puts enterprise quotes at $100K to $600K or more a year, Vendr's transaction data shows a median of about $212K, with annual contract values of $100,000 to $250,000 for small deployments of 10 to 25 users, and one review lists Self-Service AI from about $25K a year and Enterprise AI from about $100K. Other sites cite $2,500 to $7,500 a month for smaller deployments.

One calculator says GenAI, MLOps and AI Governance add-ons stack on top of the platform fee and extra users are billed at an indicative $3,500 per user per year above included seats, which DataRobot has not confirmed. Free trial sources disagree: one says a 14-day trial with compute-hour limits, CASRAI reports 30 days, and ITQlick says none is currently offered. None of the results was an official price sheet, so confirm trial terms and pricing with DataRobot.

DataRobot suits large organisations that need governed, auditable ML at scale and have a data science team to use it. Smaller teams may prefer lighter tools. Compare H2O.ai, Dataiku and Akkio. Browse the Data & Analytics tools directory for more.
