What Is Localize?
Localize, also known as Localize.js, is a website and app translation service with AI translation and human review. Localize's main pricing page, read directly, shows no prices, saying pricing is tailored and recommending you talk to a localisation expert, with Book a Demo and Try It Free buttons and no card needed. A search-tool read of its Basic tier page, however, listed three self-serve tiers with AI translation included: Individual at $50 a month billed annually, covering one language, one team member and 100,000 pageviews with 2 million AI translations a month, Basic at $275 a month annually with four languages, three team members, 500,000 pageviews and 10 million AI translations, and Core at $625 a month annually with six languages, five team members, 1.5 million pageviews and 20 million AI translations. That page says the platform gives built-in access to three AI engines, Google, Microsoft and Amazon, so you do not configure them.
Because my direct read of the main page showed none of these, treat the tier figures as semi-verified and confirm them on the site. Third-party listings are inconsistent: Capterra lists a $59 flat rate and a TrustRadius page showing four plans starting at $50 is about 4,000 days old and clearly stale, while ToolRadar calls it paid-only and says prices were checked on August 27, 2026. Costs scale with pageviews and languages, so a high-traffic site should estimate monthly pageviews before choosing a tier. Human review is a separate service.
