What Is Plaud?
Plaud makes AI voice recorders, including the Plaud Note, NotePin and Note Pro, with an app that transcribes and summarises recordings. My attempts to read Plaud's pricing page and homepage returned a 404 and then a rate-limit error twice, so I could not verify anything from the official site and I list pricing as contact sales. Third-party sources are consistent with each other. They list the Plaud Note and NotePin at $159, the NotePin S at $179 and the Note Pro at $189, with a free Starter plan of 300 transcription minutes a month included with each device. Paid plans are reported as Pro at $17.99 a month, or $8.33 billed annually, with about 1,200 minutes, and Unlimited at $29.99 a month, or $19.99 annually. A bundle of Note plus an annual Pro plan appears at $248.99 on a coupon site, and a competitor's article says team launch pricing ended August 31, 2026 with rates rising to $25 and $35 per user.
These sources are partly competitors and coupon sites, so confirm figures on Plaud's store before buying. The value of the product is hardware you can clip or wear that records in-person conversations and calls, with AI summaries afterwards. The ongoing subscription is where the cost lies, since transcription minutes beyond the free allowance require a plan. I saw no ownership or acquisition news and no sign of inactivity.
Plaud suits people who attend many in-person meetings, interviews and lectures. Compare Laxis, Otter.ai and Notta. Browse the Speech & Transcription tools directory for more.
