Torq

Torq is an AI SOC and security hyperautomation platform, and its flagship agent is called Socrates. In January 2026 it raised a $140 million Series D at a $1.2 billion valuation led by Merlin Ventures, bringing total funding to $332 million, with Evolution Equity Partners, Notable Capital, Bessemer Venture Partners, Insight Partners and Greenfield Partners also participating. Dark Reading says Torq, which is eyeing an IPO, has more than 250 customers. Torq's AI SOC Platform, formerly HyperSOC, combines no-code workflow automation across hundreds of integrations with Socrates, which triages, investigates and remediates alerts. The company says Socrates can autonomously handle up to 90% of Tier-1 tickets, a vendor claim. Headcount reports differ between 350 and more than 400.

Torq's pricing page returned a not-found error when I tried to read it, and the company does not publish prices, so treat it as contact sales. The only figure I found is from a third-party directory, listing AWS Marketplace plans at $450,000 a year, with Essential, Enterprise and Elite tiers on 12-month contracts and direct pricing custom. That is unverified. In practice buyers should expect an enterprise contract based on the automation and agent usage they need. I found no reporting of funding after the January round.
