What Is Gtranslate?
GTranslate is a website translation plugin and delivery network for WordPress, Joomla, Drupal, Shopify, Squarespace and any HTML site. GTranslate's dedicated pricing URL returned a 404, but the homepage carries the pricing table, in dollars with yearly billing giving two months free and a 15-day free trial for paid plans. Free is $0 with a language selector widget, all languages, machine translation and unlimited words and pageviews, but no commercial use, no search engine indexing, no editing of translations, no URL translation and no language hosting. Custom is $12 a month, or $120 a year, adding AI translation, commercial use, indexing and editing. Startup is $25, or $250, with all languages. Business is $35, or $350, adding URL translation. Enterprise is $50, or $500, adding language hosting.
Paid plans work as a Translation Delivery Network that hosts translated versions of your site under language-specific URLs. The page says content is translated with advanced AI technology at no extra fee and that you do not need a Google Translate API key, while the free tier uses statistical machine translation in the browser. There are unlimited words on every tier and an inline editor for manual edits. A separate translation API is linked to another site that I did not open. The footer reads GTranslate Inc., 2008 to 2026, with refunds within 30 days and no acquisition news. The free tier is useful for visitors but not SEO, so search-driven sites should choose a paid plan.
