What Is Amazon QuickSight?
Amazon QuickSight is AWS's business intelligence service with generative BI features. Third-party sources agree on 2026 seat prices, and the official AWS pricing page confirms the Author and Author Pro rates. Reader is $3 per user per month, Reader Pro $20, Author $24 and Author Pro $40. Several sources report a flat $250-a-month per-account infrastructure fee once an account has any Pro user, Q&A enabled via topics or dashboard Q&A enabled. As an alternative to per-seat Readers, session bundles start at $250 a month for 500 sessions, each session being a 30-minute period. SPICE storage beyond the included 10 GB per Author is $0.38 per GB per month.
Amazon Quick Suite and QuickSight are separate products with separate seat prices, and one comparison puts a QuickSight Reader at $3 against $20 for a Quick Plus or Professional seat. AWS's own page said the Author promotion for Quick Suite Enterprise ran until April 30, 2026, which has now passed, so bundled Enterprise access is no longer available. One source lists a Standard tier at $9 and a Reader cap near $5, which others do not mention, so treat that as unverified.
