Khoros

Khoros is an enterprise community and social media management platform, formed in 2019 from Lithium and Spredfast, and IgniteTech acquired it in May 2025 for an undisclosed price. One guide reports that Khoros laid off 116 employees in Austin within weeks, about two-thirds of its local staff, and CX Today describes workforce reductions, severance support and transition planning, while saying Classic Community remains supported and customers are not being forced into immediate migration. According to CX Today, dated April 15, 2026, Khoros introduced two AI-native platforms: Aurora AI for community, described by one guide as the successor to Khoros Classic, and Iris AI for social media management, covering publishing and listening. Khoros' pricing URL redirected to khoros.ai, a different domain, and I did not follow it, so I could not read an official price page.

Khoros publishes no rate card, so treat it as contact sales. Vendr's buyer data, via a third-party guide, shows a median annual contract of $164,649, with the middle range of observed deals from $52,843 to $258,854, which are estimates and not an official price list. I found no current status update from IgniteTech beyond the launch coverage. Because the product line is being re-platformed, ask whether your contract covers Aurora AI, Iris AI or the classic products, and what migration support is included.
