What Is Pylon?
Pylon is a B2B customer support platform for teams that work through Slack, Teams, Discord, WhatsApp, email and phone, with AI agents. Pylon's own pricing page, read directly, lists Professional at $89 per seat on an annual contract, Advanced at $139 per seat, marked recommended, and Enterprise as a custom quote through sales. Add-ons are Account Intelligence at $10 per customer account a month, Phone at $35 per seat a month and SAML SSO at $125 a month. AI features, including the Assist Agent, Automations, Support Agent and Slack Agent, are accessible when you purchase credits and are not sold as separate add-ons. Credits are quoted by sales based on tickets per month and automation share, with a minimum commitment of 5,000 credits. Standard contracts are annual, discounts apply when you commit to credits upfront, and free trials are offered to prospects through a sales rep, with no free plan.
Third-party sources show older G2 seat rates from October 2024 of $59, $89 and $139, and Vendr reported a median contract of $100,800 a year on September 22, 2026, with a low of $16,343 and a high of $152,831, which does not fit the published seat rates and is worth checking. Competitor blogs claim real cost can reach two to three times the advertised price, and say AI Assistants cost $50 per seat a month and AI Agents from $100 a month, which I could not confirm. Funding: a $31 million Series B announced August 19, 2025, led by a16z and Bain Capital Ventures, with totals of about $51 million to $53.9 million. Credits make AI costs variable.
